It occured to me last night that I never feel like I quite belong. I suppose that is the struggle of humankind.

The Following is Dedicated to SHEENA WACH!!
If you know this girl - she's crazy!
When I first met her I thought - this girl is just wierd, and I don't really know how to respond. Hmmm...maybe that's how people feel about me...but anyway, back to Sheena.
So at the moment, she is laying on my couch wrapped in what she calls the "grandpa sweater" [a knitted blanket] and wearing her kind of creepy lace footlets [which she wore with ridiculous highheels to school today and then tried to run in...of course she lost a shoe along the way!]. In addition, she is trying to play the game Mad Gab...that's a disaster!! Everyone else in the room can clearly hear the phrase and she just keeps repeating, laughing and remains completely oblivious to the answer.
I wish I could just put a recording of her on this site for you so you would know the extent to which her hilarity extends. Strange she is indeed...but her complete absurdity makes me laugh all the worse! I love her anyway!!

The other day, as I was enduring my boring job, I overheard a girl tell her friend that "books are going the way of the dinosaurs." I almost responded out loud to inform her she was an idiot and terribly wrong at that! Books are a priceless treasure...yeah, I said it. The technology of today is overwhelming and grande but also unreliable on so many levels. AND, technology will never be able to replace the reading of a good novel. Everyone is on pixle overload...eventually they won't even know how to read!!
Sooo...love books, and read them! That sounds so cheesy but I mean it!

I guess New Year's is celebrated because the superstition is such that, how you enter the new year is how it will proceed. So, if I missed the turn of the New Year I guess I'm going to "miss" the next year of my life too. I suppose this gives me a good excuse to be delinquent and do anything I want. Afterall, I can always say, "well I did miss New Year's..."

But how was New Year's celebration for the rest of you??

I think I'm getting sick...I've sneezed like a million times!! Time to bring in the Vitamin C.

"War of the Worlds" ...or perhaps it should have been, "The Common Cold"
Oh Steve, you've done it once again! You've taken one of the more simple and forgotten atrocities of life and made a movie of maddness out of it. Well shot, good graphics [as if I actually know something about that! pff.] but the plot is kind of absurd and unrealistic until the very end makes sense of it all- you gave me a good laugh!!

In other news, I've never been so overly stimulated by pixels on a screen. Way too much Xbox and way too many movies in the last two days - but that's the fun of visiting your cousins right?? Good times.

ps. back at my apartment now.
